About me

Hi, my name is Anne-Laure Filleul. I am an English, Dutch and French speaking physiotherapist,  mother of three children. I arrived in the Netherlands 25 years ago from France after my engineering studies. Last year, I followed the Integral Pelvic Therapist practitioner training as I wanted to be able to help women with pelvic problems in a more holistic way. I am very passionate about working with both Western conventional and complementary medicine, having personnally experienced their unique contributions to enhancing health and well-being.

My journey to become a mother has been a challenging one. I experienced multiple (late) miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies and my last child was conceived through IVF. Five years ago I felt drained out, had an unexplained aching belly, chronic neck pain and a very low libido. My search for healing and a happier life brought me to yoga, mindfulness, dance, women sharing circles, specialized physiotherapists and pelvic bodywork. Pelvic therapy allowed me to finally feel safe in my belly and sex, easing the pains and increasing my capacity for joy and pleasure. I now feel at home in my body and enjoy life more than ever.

I feel very privileged to be able to support women in their healing journey as an IPT practitioner by providing a safe space, working with my hands, heart and mind.

Testimonial

I warmly recommend Anne Laure for her gentle touch and respectful approach.
I have done two IPT sessions after my vaginal delivery with a full rupture of the perineum.
The sessions were powerful, and allowed me to deeply release tensions held in my low back and in my perineal scar. I gained trust in my body to heal and felt the energy in the pelvic bowl moving again. I could start walking longer distances and go back to Pilates.

I had several sessions with Anne-Laure, and each time has been truly wonderful. It's always a surprise to see what unfolds. Anne-Laure skillfully creates a relaxed atmosphere where I felt that everything was possible and allowed, providing space for exploration and healing. Anne-Laure is a woman with a beautifully vibrant life energy. I highly recommend to have sessions with her!
